Urbiquità approda a Venezia

25 years of Cecco Rivolta
On May 26-28, we will be getting to Cecco Rivolta with many contributions to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the student squat that has been transformed into atypical experience of social housing self-regeneration by its inhabitants. Laura Colini will participate in a site visit and panel discussion about housing issues; CartografiaResistente will conduct an urban derive and present the first results of the cycle of laboratories reviving the memory of the insurgent city; and Lorenzo Tripodi will present his book Urbiquità alongside Tiziano Bonini and the Ippolita collective in a discussion about the role of algorithms in shaping our society.
Social Forum Dell’Abitare
In Naples, from 22 to 24 May, the second edition of the National Assembly of the Social Forum dell’Abitare will be held, an important annual moment of confrontation and collective planning on the themes of the right to live and housing, urban policies and social and environmental justice.

OASis
OASis is a Creative Europe project whose main aim is to support the creation of 13 International Residence programs for artists, in some cases in existing cultural centres, and in other cases supporting the creation of new cultural spaces.
EduCity
The Erasmus+ project Edu-City aims at promoting field educational experiences with a specific attention at deprived urban contexts where fragile adults are excluded from opportunities of inclusion, participation, learning and local resources valorisation. Tesserae contributes by coordinating the production of the handbook, providing specific training on participative methodologies, testing the the application of the method in the local lab in Berlin and organising ther final international conference.
UrbEX
UrbEX is an Erasmus plus project aimed at developing urban exploration as tool to engage and empower youths at risk of exclusion. Tesserae is lead partner and coordinator in the project, managing the partnership between five organisations in five different EU countries. We are delivering the URBEX handbook of Urban Exploration and testing the handbook’s methodologies in Berlin within local labs. Finally in September 2023 we will also be organising the project’s final international conference.

Ex-Base NATO- Bagnoli
The former Colonia Costanzo Ciano, today renamed Parco San Laise, is large complex of buildings in the neighbourhood of Bagnoli owned by a foundation depending on Campania Region. Originally a colony for disadvantaged children, the area was used for almost 50 years as militar headquarters of NATO. When the lease ended, the area has been neglected for years, before starting to transition again towards the original vocation of a place for social and cultural use.
HIDEPARK- NITRA
Hidepark is a grassroots open-space community and cultural centre established on a former illegal landfill in the city of Nitra, Slovakia. It has grown into a hub for cultural, ecological, and social activities, serving as a safe and inclusive space for diverse vulnerable groups within the city.
