The issue 68 of LoSquaderno dedicated to the theme “Loop” includes a short piece by Lorenzo Tripodi. The paper examines participatory processes as “loops of cognitive loops” and presents Tesserae’s Frame4Change as a recursive action system similar to a music composition approach.
In May 2023 our collaborator Luis Miguel Benavides traveled to Palermo to carry on a jobshadowing residence in the frame of the EduCity project. He spent two weeks collaborating at the local activities run by our partners of Bond of Union, exchanging ideas and methods and providing an external feedback to their specific community issues. IN-HABIT is an Horizon 2020 project led by the University of Cordoba. The overall objective of IN-HABIT is to foster Inclusive Health and Wellbeing in peripheral small and medium size cities by means of mobilizing resources around a core topic and galvanize them through solutions that integrate cultural, digital, nature-based and social innovations applied to the co-design, co-development and co-management of urban public spaces. Tesserae has a core role in the project, leading WP5 dedicated to the engagement of citizens and stakeholders all along the five years project. We are in charge of delivering a methodological toolkit for civic engagement (Stakeholders Engagement with Gender and Diversity perspective Toolkit), training the local community activators of the four cities and supporting their PPPPs, steering the co-production of four Inclusive Transition Pathways, and finally reporting and disseminating the experience.
Framework for Change provides a basic logic framework to understand the complexity of factors influencing the development of inclusive, participated and integrated projects. It is a conceptual map to navigate transformative processes at large, completed by a set of questions that you should ask yourself along the path and a collection of tools to inspire visionary and inclusive solutions.
