UPPER Latina – Second Co-Design lab

The second co-design laboratory within the UIA project UPPER focused on the green area of via Roccagorga, adjacent to the market area. The appointment took place on February 21 at the Ettore Majorana high-school, preceded by an inspection with the citizens of the area affected by the project.

The co-design process that accompanies the regeneration of the UPPER parks has the aim of bringing out needs, ideas and suggestions to enrich the feasibility study drawn up by the designers, in particular by going to:

– define the vocation of the park and possible nature-based solutions

– share proposals on furnishings and greenery

– check improvements related to accessibility and quality

– identify possible shared development paths in the area

The indications that emerged from the voice of the citizens were compared with the first hypotheses collected in the feasibility study of the municipality’s technical staff and will be included in the design process submitted for approval by the city council.
