On November 15 2016 we were invited to attend the first European Commons Assembly in Brussels. This has been a great opportunity to meet people that from different perspectives, practices and political approaches understand the commons as an essential battlefield for a more sustainable and just society.

Next 12 and 13 September will take place in Oxford the final conference of the H2020 Rise project Co-Creation. On May 26-28, we will be getting to Cecco Rivolta with many contributions to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the student squat that has been transformed into atypical experience of social housing self-regeneration by its inhabitants. Laura Colini will participate in a site visit and panel discussion about housing issues; CartografiaResistente will conduct an urban derive and present the first results of the cycle of laboratories reviving the memory of the insurgent city; and Lorenzo Tripodi will present his book Urbiquità alongside Tiziano Bonini and the Ippolita collective in a discussion about the role of algorithms in shaping our society.
Since June 28 a team of researchers including Manuela and Sergio is in Rio de Janeiro for a 6 week secondment of the Cocreation project in collaboration with PUC University.
