COMENSI TRAINING WEEK IN PALERMO

The first training week of the program took place on June 24-29  in Palermo involving 25 social workers and project managers from the five partner cities of this ErasmusPlus project.  We presented the COMENSI toolkit for Community Engagement  and discussed its application in five neighbourhoods in London, Ljubljana, Lisbon, Palermo and Berlin.

DAY 1: Comensi Method Presentation + Step 1 – identify your target group/issue + Step 2 – assess the possibilities + research tools (Stakeholder mapping exercise)

DAY 2: Step 3 – common goal + Step 4 – action plan (Theory of Change + City Visionary)

DAY 3: Step 5 – Setting the space (Community platform training + Urban Memo/Urban sketches)

DAY 4: Step 6 – Make it happen (collecting memories) + Visit to Ecomuseo del mare

DAY 5: Step 7 – Monitoring/communication (Theory of Change)
